Lindisfarne first appeared out of Tyneside in the early '70s with an instantly recognisable style - their hit records: Meet Me On The Corner, Lady Eleanor, Fog On The Tyne and Run For Home have achieved classic status. Whilst this mainstream chart success did not stay with them, Lindisfarne remained as popular as ever on the live circuit.

The '90s saw a resurgence of interest in their music and albums Here Comes The Neighbourhood 1998 and Promenade 2002 have been received as enthusiastically as anything from the band's past.

Edinburgh-based 5-piece The Wynntown Marshals formed in 2007 and have been described by the Metro as “arguably Scotland’s strongest band” and regarded by The Herald as “the best Americana band outside North America”.

With three studio albums, several EPs, and a 10-year retrospective collection under their belts so far, the Marshals have recorded sessions for ‘Whispering Bob’ Harris’s BBC Radio 2 show, as well as BBC Radio Scotland sessions on ‘Another Country with Ricky Ross’ and an appearance on 'The Quay Sessions with Roddy Hart' in 2018.

Their debut album “Westerner” was released in 2010 with the Belgian website RootsTime proclaiming it “the best alt.country album from Europe ever”, with the follow-up (“The Long Haul”) being placed at number 10 in the Sunday Herald’s list of the ‘Top 50 Scottish Albums of 2013’. Their next album, 2015's “The End of the Golden Age”, was awarded 8/10 in Uncut, who referred to the band as “colonising the shadowland that lies between Tom Petty and Teenage Fanclub”.

In 2017, the band marked a decade together by releasing a 16-track retrospective entitled “After All These Years”, with Louder Than War awarding the compilation 9/10 and declaring that “The Marshals have been crafting songs of such high quality that they're surely a national treasure”, and that they are “miles above the competition at this sort of thing”.

The Wynntown Marshals will play their first headline shows in over a year including a special afternoon show at Backstage at the Green Hotel in Kinross on Sunday 15th December, where they will debut their new line-up as well as previewing material from their forthcoming studio album which will be released on Blue Rose Records in the spring of 2020.

European blues awards nominees the Starlite Campbell Band is husband and wife Suzy Starlite and Simon Campbell working as a four piece with some of the world’s finest musicians.

The band is steeped in British blues – think early Led Zeppelin, The Faces and Peter Green’s Fleetwood Mac. With contemporary original songs inspired by real life and real people, they have a sound and vibe reminiscent of the mid 60’s to early 70’s - the halcyon days of music.

Starlite and Campbell, who married after a whirlwind musical romance, released their debut album ‘Blueberry Pie’to rave reviews worldwide and a prestigious nomination for Best Album in the European Blues Awards.

"Unquestionably Blueberry Pie is a stunning debut" | 5* - Morgan Hogarth, Rock n Reel Magazine

With extensive international radioplay charting top 10 in the UK, Australia, The Netherlands and American Blues Charts and over 50 four and five star reviews worldwide, the Starlite Campbell Band leave an indelible impression on audiences of all ages and musical backgrounds.

From Suzy’s addictive, fun-loving bass groove and thunderous tone to Simon’s explosive vocals and fretwork, the band is joined by keyboard maestro Jonny Henderson on Hammond/Wurlitzer (Robben Ford / Matt Schofield) and shuffle-master Steve Gibson on drums (Chris Farlowe / Larry Garner).

“Just as the Rolling Stones are making huge waves with their 30th studio release, Blue & Lonesome, along come a couple of seasoned musicians who bring back the sound of early UK blues, to near perfection.” | JD Nash - American Blues Scene, USA

The art of the song is everything and Starlite and Campbell fly in the face of disposable music - writing, recording and producing their work and then releasing on their independent label Supertone Records.

"Blueberry Pie is a great album" | Cerys Matthews, BBC Radio 2 & 6 Music

The band recently headlined the Saturday night at Wangaratta festival of jazz & blues in Australia where they were joined by guest keyboard player Clayton Doley and quickly followed by a successful two week tour in the UK to great reviews.

Sin City (May 1, 2019) :::  The 50thAnniversary All-Star Tribute to THE FLYING BURRITO BROS., has finalized its line-up of legacy musicians, culled from The Who’s Who of Country Rock, Americana & UK classic rock music genres. This is nothing less than a deep dive into the origins of contemporary legends like The Eagles, their forbears The Byrds, and their descendants – The Flying Burrito Bros.- founded in 1969 by Gram Parsons, Bernie Leadon, Chris Hillman, Sneaky Pete Kleinow, Chris Ethridge and Michael Clarke. Parsons, whose early death & Joshua Tree cremation are the stuff of rock myth, resurrected The Byrds with his dynamic country & western phrasing on 1968’s seminal & influential “Sweetheart of The Rodeo,” following the departure of David Crosby & Gene Clark. Parsons then left with Hillman to form The Flying Burrito Bros.

The band continued through the 1970s, never capturing the Gram Parsons front man dynamic, until 1979 when singer/ songwriter & multi-instrumentalist Greg Harris was ‘discovered’ by stalwarts Kleinow, & then Burritos members (Byrds’) bassist Skip Battin & Gib Guilbeau. Greg’s performance of classic Parsons’ material was uncanny. This era of the band, mostly intact, continued into the 1990s.

Greg Harris, multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and vocalist arrived in LA signed to RCA Records in 1977. He worked a short stint in the infamous Palomino Club house band. He did session work for everyone from The Everly Brothers, Alabama & Gene Parsons, joining The Flying Burrito Bros. in 1979 and recorded two projects, Live in Tokyo in 79’ and The Burrito Bros “Live In Europe” in 86’.

Jeff Pevar, sought after guitarist, multi-instrumentalist, vocalist - is possibly best known for his touring & recording work with sixties music icons, David Crosby, CSN, Phil Lesh & Friends, Joe Cocker, Ray Charles, Jazz is Dead & Jefferson Starship, with whom he played bass for the Woodstock 40th Anniversary Tour. He also supported Bette Midler, Rickie Lee Jones and many others.

Tony Morley, bassist - has amassed such a heady range of credits, it would be impossible to list all of them. Notably, he has toured/ recorded in the U.S., Japan, Germany, Italy, France, The Netherlands, Luxembourg, Scandinavia with Jefferson Starship and Live Dead ‘69

Richard Newman,drummer/percussionist is one of Britain’s most in demand musicians. He recently completed a massive tour with Paul Rogers & Jeff Beck. He has also toured late greats Alvin Lee, Rory Gallagher, Jefferson Airplane’s Paul Kantner in Jefferson Starship, and he continues with Deb Bonham and Live Dead ’69.
