Terms & Conditions
CONTRACT FOR PERFORMING MUSICIANS
1. All concerts shall be scheduled and contracted with due regard to the programming policies and other operational priorities of the venue and shall be confirmed at the discretion of the Management.
2. The Management reserves the right to decline any performing offers or requests that do not meet the programming policies and other priorities of the venue.
3. In the event of inadequate ticket sales, the Management reserves the right to cancel any concerts without the payment of compensation to performers. This right shall be invoked in exceptional circumstances only.
4. In the event of inadequate ticket sales, the Management reserves the right to cancel gigs.
5. All performers shall commence their concert(s) at the time agreed with the Management.
6. All performers shall perform for a length of time, including intermissions where appropriate, to be agreed with the Management. This will be normally be a minimum of 45 minutes of a 2 set performance.
7. The payment to performers for performing at the venue shall be a matter of individual negotiation between the performer and the Management.
8. In the event of performers playing for a share of the takings at the door, the venue shall retain 100% of the first £100 of ticket sales. Thereafter, the Famous Bein Inn shall retain 30% of all ticket sales over the value of £100.
9. The venue shall provide accommodation and food for performers by prior arrangement only. Such facilities shall be provided at a discount price to be agreed with individual performers and shall be subject to availability. ALL drinks shall be paid for by the performers
10. The venue shall ensure that appropriate back line amplification is available to performers as required and as advised in advance by performers. Performers shall be required to meet the full costs of hiring appropriate back line amplification or ancilliaries where this is necessary.
11. The Management shall endeavour to meet any reasonable and realistic requests made by performers and vice versa.
12. Performers shall be required to provide promotional materials such as posters in advance of their concert(s) in order to assist marketing activities.
13. Mundell Music shall promote all concerts through it’s website, email lists, promotional flyers and public relations activities as appropriate.
14. Performers shall be required to participate in media activities such as interviews wherever there is media demand for such involvement.
