So…..The old adage if you can’t beat them join them! MM are going away for a short break, so what albums do we take away? Well its going to be nostalgic isn’t it! So here we go, it no particular order.

  1. Carly Simon ‘Have you seen me lately?’   A later release from the amazing Carly Simon. It passed me by a little bit at the time, but what a good album it is. Tracks ‘Better Not Tell Her’, ‘Don’t Wrap It Up’ and ‘Life Is Eternal’ are the standout tracks for me. I love Steve Gadd’s drumming on ‘Better Not Tell Her’.

    2) James Taylor ‘Gorilla”  Another great release from this sprawling masterpiece. From Crosby & Nash on Backing vocals on ‘Lighthouse’ and ‘Mexico’ to the tracks ‘Wanderin’, ‘I Was a Fool To Care’….Brilliant!

    3) Randy Bachman ‘Any Road’  Nothing wrong with a bit of unadulterated Rock…..I think this was another LP that went under the radar. Just play the track ‘Prarie Town’ with Neil Young guesting………So Good!
