Alex Cornish is a singer-songwriter from Dunbar, Scotland, a seaside town just outside Edinburgh. He has produced five critically acclaimed albums to date, his most recent being “Hang on the Word” which came out in July this year (“classical and crafted, absolutely magical” said BBC Radio Scotland’s Roddy Hart) . In session for Dermot O’ Leary he was called a “genius”, Mark Radcliffe declared his music to be “absolutely gorgeous'”, “a voice to stand comparison to Thom Yorke” said The Scotsman on Sunday and “a beautiful album that has Mercury Music Prize nomination written all over it” said The Sunday Times. So, with all this praise…why you haven’t heard of him?
